About Us
Our vineyard is located in Lavreotiki, in the region of Keratea and belongs to the broader wine-growing zone of Mesogaia, a historic place, famous for its wine since the time of ancient Greece and the symposiums of Plato, Socrates and Aristotle.
Although we operate in the region of Keratea, which belongs to the wine-growing zone of Mesogaia, our vineyard is deeply diversified compared to the rest of Mesogaia, as it has significant advantages in climate conditions, altitude and in soil composition.
I used to list Albariño as my favorite white wine (it’s still close) but after meeting Greek’s bone dry mineral explosion of Assyrtiko, it’s held first place for a while now. Mylonas Assyrtiko is a prime introduction for newcomers as its medium body offers some dried oregano and sage to break up the piercing minerality, all at an optimal price point. This wine also presents some salinity thanks to its coastal vineyards, which makes it a fitting poolside or beach day go-to.
